We live in a digital time. The digital aspect is not restricted to certain kind of tasks but extend itself to how we feel, how we inference, whom we talk about and so on. The life and Internet are intertwined. We are constantly seeking answer from what we have created.
Internet is never ending scrollable feed, bundle of information, extremely addictive games and highly skilled, creative content creators jungle. Its the world within the world. You see what you want to see and how internet Percieves and suggest you to see.
All media has its effects. children are the most vulnerable agents of media influence. Isolating children would not be an option. So what to do? Question is an interesting one.
The visual media or internet is an escape from reality for many reasons. It distracts a person from current state of living, passive rather than an active participant hence dont have to do much and so on.
Growing children are active learners. They learn by experience, modelling elders in their games that they play, engaging in thinking by spending more time with themself and real life situation than anything else. But media, internet is taking that away from it or is it?
Soil is the teacher and most of us take it for dirt. A little box inside the plam of a child to decide the future the world(children are future).
